Türkiye Citizenship by Investment
Launched in 2017, Türkiye's citizenship-by-investment programme offers eligible foreign investors and their family members a route to Turkish citizenship. Applicants may qualify by purchasing qualifying Turkish real estate or by placing a qualifying fixed-term deposit with a bank in Türkiye.

Eligibility
Applicants must comply with the relevant Turkish laws and regulations and choose one of the following routes:
- A fixed-term deposit of at least USD 500,000 equivalent in Turkish lira, held for 3 years
- Purchase of Turkish real estate valued at USD 400,000 or more, held for 3 years
Beyond the qualifying investment, applicants must also meet the following baseline conditions:
- Main applicant aged 18 or above
- No criminal record or serious adverse background
- Lawful and clearly documented source of funds
- Compliance with the review and approval requirements of the Turkish authorities
Application Process
- Complete the qualifying investment and obtain the certificate of conformity issued by the competent authority
- Submit identity, investment, source-of-funds and family documentation to the relevant authorities
- After review, the competent Turkish authorities issue the final decision
- Once approved, the applicant and qualifying family members obtain Turkish citizenship under the law
