Established in 1984, the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme is one of the longest-running programmes of its kind in the Caribbean. It offers eligible applicants and their families a route to citizenship through a contribution to national development, a donation to an approved public-benefit project, or an investment in approved real estate.

Eligibility

Applicants must be aged 18 or above, pass the required vetting and background checks, and choose one of the following investment routes:

  • Contribution to the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC) from USD 250,000
  • Purchase of government-approved real estate from USD 325,000, held for 7 years
  • Donation to an approved Public Benefit Option (PBO) from USD 250,000

Beyond the qualifying investment, applicants must also meet the following baseline conditions:

  • No criminal record or serious adverse background
  • Lawful and clearly documented source of funds
  • Completion of the government's due diligence and approval process

Application Process

  • Initial eligibility assessment, document preparation and submission
  • Due diligence, background checks and, where required, interviews by the competent authority
  • After approval in principle, completion of the contribution or investment and payment of government fees
  • Final decision by the authorities once all conditions are satisfied
  • Upon approval, the applicant and qualifying family members receive St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship
